Anybody else see that amazing Suns-Spurs game last night?
At the packed SBC Center in San Antonio. The Suns, once down by 12 came back and Amare Stoudamire scored a game tying 3 with 7.9 seconds left in the 4th to send it in to o.t. . Then in o.t. the Spurs were up by 2 with 5 seconds left and phoenix intentionally fouled tim duncan. tim duncan had a chance to put it away but he fucked up both free throws and then Shawn Marion hit a 3 at the buzzer to pull the 8th seeded suns above the 1st seeded spurs.
What a great game. |

yeah, i wrote about it in the NBA playoffs thread. As a Suns fan, it was one of the best games I've ever seen.
By the way, it was Marbury, not Marion who hit the winning shot. The best part is that both his and Stoudamires shot were bank shots. And Stoudamire had only made 2 the whole year. |

Yeah, missing 3 out of 4 FT's in the final 16 seconds is unreal
Seriously though, I figure on him getting the MVP. He just brings so much to the court. I think the Suns should have no trouble winning this series. For his first playoff game as a rookie, Amare played an outstanding game. If Marbury can carry on the momentum of that final shot, the Spurs won't stand a chance. |

Beautiful game! Hopefully the NBA Playoffs will bring more exciting moments like that which I'm sure they will. It's the best against the best......it doesn't get any better.
