Semi-anonymous posting
 

There have been some threads that get a bit confusing when there is more than one Anonymous Poster in the thread. It might make things simpler if we established a custom whereby the AP "signs" each post with a second Username. It could even change from thread to thread; just, within a single thread, we could reply to a specific name more easily.

Perhaps if we could somehow number the posts in each thread. For example, Anon1, Anon2, etc. And then when Anon1 comes back, you can tell which version of Anonymous is posting.

might just be a well thought out idea. not much different than something from Dear Abby...

Actually differentiating Anonymous posts defeats the purpose ... I say it's fine the way it is, (what's wring with me nowadays) I would just rather the OP leaves the letters OP after his/her posts in order to tell if it's the original poster reporting back or responding to a post.

I think separating the anons by 'anon1' 'anon2' would be beneficial.

It wouldn't defeat the purpose. It would still keep the poster anonymous.

Unless they used the same secondary name every time.
