In this section people could talk about what they are into in their spare time. Besides computers! For example, I like collecting rocks and minerals, so I might start a thread about it, where people could respond if they were interested. It would be out of the way in other sections. If you collected lawn mower parts, or he-man toys, you could easily find out who else was into something like that in the hobbies section. I don't know, just a centralized location would be cool.

I say start a thread in Tilted Living, and see where it goes from there, if there is enough demand for it, i'm sure the mods will take care of it from there.

Anyone can make a good case for a specialized forum, it's just getting to be too much.

It bums me out.

I still feel that way. The entire INTERNET has special nooks and crannies for every type of interest. Replicating the net is not a good idea. I'm sure there is a forum that would be happy to have your post.
