For whoever's shown, as of late, the best ettiquette whilst arguing valiant points and, essentially, just contributing in a very positive way that raises the level of discussion, there ought to be some sort of weekly/monthly recognition for the Contributor of the (Week/Month) in Tilted Politics. That might help drive people to not let things get out of hand.

Seriously though.....If it would help people be a bit more accepting and thoughtful I am all for it.

Well guys, if you want this, you gotta work for it. Is it necessary to pick a top poster as often as every week? This has the prospect of catching on, but it's much more likely to get old real fast with lack of support. The users will have to run it in conjunction with the mods.

More thoughts?

I am out of town for a week as of today, but wanted to offer my support for this upon my return.
Will check Friday night to see where it has gone.

Although I have only been posting for a month or so now, I think this board has the best community there is and I think that alot of the members would be willing to keep up the support for it (I would try); well that is my thoughts anyway...
