Did something happen to the local area forums? (ie the Canada one?)
or is there a reason I can't see emm?

I've been wondering the same thing, the only way I can get to them is to search my posts and pick one from the Canada section, then all works fine.

The regional forums are being phased out due to general lack of usage. As for the threads and posts contained within them, their future is yet to be determined (read: don't worry, we know there's still interest in some of them). TFP will be undergoing some changes for a bit. Bear with us as things are worked out.

I've cut out a few lesser used forums. They still exist, but you cant navigate to them. I'm just trying to cut out as much crap as possible, keeping the TFP mostly relevant.

Aw man, I know Coming Together doesn't get a ton of mileage, but people were posting regularly in the thread I resurrected there about changing names after marriage. I am still looking for feedback there... would it be possible to throw it into Discussion or Sexuality, at least?

can you plz plz plz not phase out the australia forum? its usually the first one i check when i log on. we're a small band of ppl here in oz that are on tfp and its nice to have a small niche within a niche. im sure the rest would agree with me 110 percent.

I too would like to see a return of the Canada board. I'd hate to see its political and news threads get lost among the larger forums.

I resurrected the Canada forum in the chatter section, and moved the "Where am I" thread back. But if that's the only thread that gets any action, it's going back to nonsense!
