how do i set up my own avatar?

First you have to earn the right.

That takes a certain number of posts. And instead of getting into a discussion about how many posts it takes, I'm instead going to give you some advice.

It doesn't matter. Find some topics you are passionate about, and join in. Read. Post. Participate.

You'll be up there with the best of them in no time.

you need to have 250 posts to get to set your own..put what about useing one of the presets? or whatever there called....?

there are no preset avitars... every avitar you see here at the tfp was personally uploaded by the members who display them.
