Be patient, you still have a quite a few left before you need to worry about that. :)

The number of posts needed doesn't really matter. Participate on a reasonably regular basis (which you appear to be doing) and it will come.

Ultimately, having an avatar means very little. Contributing positively to the board means very much.

Well said. I am the type who will never have a huge amount of posts (not enough time in the day, too many forums to go to), so I gotta go for quality, not quantity. :)
