Trouble with chat - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I've got a small problem that I didn't want to start an entire new thread about. I tried to log into the chat tonight for the first time, and I keep getting an error that says "Unable to connect: null". Anyone know what the deal is?

Are you in a place that would be blocking the Shadowfire Server? I know from work/school I can't access chat because it blocks the server port. From home, I have no problem.

I honestly have no clue. I wouldn't think so being that I'm at home. How can I find out if that's the problem?

Are you trying to connect using the chat link at the top of the page or are you using a program like mIRC or XChat?

If you're using the jave chat link, make sure that your browser and, more importantly, the version of JVM are up to date.
