Site Downtime ?
 

hey,

All day yesterday and and early today, I had trouble accesssing the TFP. I would receive a " tfproject.org could not be found" message in firefox. I didn't have trouble accessing any other websites at the time, so I wasn't sure if it was a temporary DNS redirection error or something else.

I didn't see any outage reports on the forums, so it's probably something local..

Just wanted to let you know.

I had the same thing happen yesterday, but it turned out that my IE cache history was the culprit. (Thanks, Bog)

I think it was down just after noon EST, and back up 12 hours later, based on posting times.

Ya, I had to leave my computer and go out into the real world! I was so scared!!

It was down for me too. I actually got some work done.

Yes, the board was down because the server was being moved. Smeth posted an announcement about it a few days ago.

Ah, the continued disadvantage of only "read new posts". I don't think it showed up there. Something weird about annoucements that way.

Ha ha! Me, too. It's creepy out there. I felt so denied the whole time we couldn't get on. :lol:

Ah, so my supposed fix was actually serendipity. :)
