IE question... replacing IE7beta with IE6?? ... my macafee is messed up and IE suxs..

can i do it??

i can only see the downloads for IE6 with includes SP2, and IE6 SP1.... i dont want anything but to remove IE7beta and get IE6 back... i think its causing me trouble with macafee security center, i cant get it to work and the download doesnt want to work... i tried reinstalling it, but it just doesnt load anything.... when i open macafee i just get a blank white screen, when i download updates, after it downloads and tries to install, it goes white and doesnt do anything... i tried doing it in firefox but it limits you to IE 5.5 or up.... i dont know whats wrong.... it could be macafee messed up, but its not doing crap... i dont reallly know whre to go but put IE6 back on and try it again....

suggestions? help?

I'd try downloading IE6 again and reinstalling it before I tried anything else

been there, not what i needed.... microsoft only offers it with SP2 or for SP1, and none of it will let you downgrade from IE7..... but i figured it out doing something different, soo all is good and macafee works! thanks for trying

.... embarassingly enough it was as simple as going to the control panel and uninstalling the update, reseting my computer, and tada, IE6
