				Purchasing Microsoft Powerpoint
I hope someone out there can help me. I have a laptop with Windows XP Microsoft Office 2003 Basic Edition and I need to get Powerpoint, what's the best (i.e. easiest, cheapest, or just the best) way to get Powerpoint on my system. Also if I buy a stand alone version of Powerpoint can I get more than one install on it, if so how many. One more thing (I hope I am not asking too much, if so, I am sorry) Is OpenOffice.org (open source office program) worth looking into as an alternative. Thank you all in advance..

| Junkie Location: In the land of ice and snow. | I've use openoffice.org as my powerpoint substitute for a couple years. I've never had a problem, but then again, i don't really use it all that much. I would highly recommend openoffice.org if you don't want to plop down the money for powerpoint(can you even buy just powerpoint?). |
