Wireless mouse/keyboard ... Shall I ?

I'm thinking of getting a wireless mouse/keyboard. But I've been hearing alot of problems it has.

Namely: It chews up batteries. And if it's low batt, it acts up.

If you have any experiences with wireless mouse/keybd ... tell me

I have a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, both the current newest models, and I've have no problems with either. I've had them for 2-3 months now and havn't changed the batteries on either.

They're really great. It frees up a lot of dest clutter.

I've had a Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical for about a year now. It works great, waaaaay more than the 6 ft. they claim on the box. I've been typin on that baby from the kitchen before! Batteries usually go about 2 months, and it has never acted up when running low on juice.

Yes, you should. Logitech is the only one I have experience with. I love it. Cordless keyboard with loads of configurable buttons within easy reach. Cordless, optical mouse. Best thing ever, regarding keyboards and mouses.

Batteries, yea it uses them pretty quick. Not a problem though if they start going bad. They pretty much die and it's obvious when they need to be replaced.

I replace about every 2-3 months. So what, it's worth it.

Take a look at the Gyration 170-001 keyboard/mouse combo, it's optical, wireless, and the mouse has a cool gyroscope in it so you can use it in the air

Rack up another point to logitech wireless opticial mouse and wireless keyboard. Love them both. Probably had them more then a year now. Battery replacement isn't a problem.

I have seen some other "wireless mice" that drive me insaine. What a bad idea to set your mouse up like a remote control. So whenever your mouse and the receiver get out of view from one another your mouse control goes dead. =(
