Broken Video Card

So I bought a Video Card. And in the process of installing it I hit it on 1 slot of ram and chiped off 2 of the little tiny components on the back of the board. And now it does not work. So my question is this. Is there anyway to fix this issue w/o buying a new card. A new one costs 350$. Does anyone know if the manufacture fixes stuff like this?

I bought the card used so there is no warrantee. Any suggestions would be greatly helpful.

Thanks Eric,

you can try to see if the manfacturer will do a repair. sometimes they will do a repair for a nominal fee. It won't be cheap but cheaper than the cost of a new card.

no way to fix it yourself, you could try and send it back, but most companies will reject it for the damage.

That sucks, you might try a local computer repair co. Can you tell if its just broken solder?? If its just delicate soldering, any competent repair tech should be able to handle it.

well I dont have the components. By the time I figured out what happened I couldnt find the 2 peices anymore. Maybe If I can find a blueprint and buy the peices and have them put back on. There is about 100 of these same things on the board. They are like 1/16" X 1/32" X 1/32" rectangular objects with solder on both ends. Not sure if that helps at all.

I am unsure which manufacture makes the board. The cooler on it has no stick on it. Just all metal. I did searches on the part#'s on the board but came up with no results. I did reorder a new board because I need it. But I would really like to get this one running if all possable. I mean I already spent alot of money on it.

Yea, if you had those two pieces it would help, of course. Trying to find a schematic is a good idea, then you could identify the parts and go from there, but without knowing the manufacturer or model # that may be difficult. I know this is absolutely no help, sorry thats all that came to mind.
