looking for a new CMS system for a rental office

not 100% as to where to start, I'm used to coding and doing things the traditional way, but i'm now looking for a content management system to streamline a housing / apartment rental site, as so managers and employees can post and update the system quickly. Would hope to be able to post a dozen listings and show them as available or occupied.. also the ability to add new ones with easy would be super...

if anyone has any advice, that would be great. I'll keep you all updated on my findings and progress

WordPress is the go-to CMS for most small enterprise development. Check it out, if you haven't already.

Take a look at Sitefinity ASP.NET CMS ? .NET Content Management System by Telerik
I use their counterpart Developer Productivity, Team Productivity, Automated Testing Tools, Web Content Management | Telerik for controls.
Telerik has good support and good community/forums.

Then there are some free ones out there too and it's worth taking a look if that fits your needs.

Yours

wordpress is working good so far, i started testing out some options on it. it looks like you can get things to look fairly non-blog like which is nice... will have no use for the blog part of it. the main thing with this will be finding a good solid theme to install or something... i'm pretty good with CSS but however i'm not even sure where to begin in terms of adjusting a wordpress site...

after everything i checked out, i ended up using wordpress, managed to buy a really cool theme... you can't even tell that the site is based upon wordpress without looking really hard. I'm satisfied. it's a pain in the ass to edit themes... but doable :-)
