Water + Computers = Bad stuff

			Well, short story.

I had my Tibook sitting next to a window. An open window. In a rather heavy downpoor. While in sleep mode, so it was still semi-powered. Needless to say, my Tibook got a real soaker. And the bloody thing still works! I dried off the case, popped out the battery and removed the keyboard and let it sit for a day. A very long day. I have dropped this thing, left it out in my car overnight a few times in the middle of a Canadian winter. No probs. I swear, there has never been a better made, more dependable laptop. A look at just some of the damage: http://music.tinfoil.net/images/pics/corner-closed.jpg I swear, I shouldn't be allowed to own a laptop.

Soggybagel: My desk faces the window. I normally don't leave it open while I am out, but I got called into work on an emergency and it slipped my mind. egorey: Indeed it is. I shudder to think what would happen if I had subjected my Dell to this treatment.
