Need help installing a printer on my powerbook that is connect to my pc
 

I have an epson c82 usb printer connect to my pc that I want to share with my 12" powerbook that's connected through a router. I have it shared in winxp side but I'm not sure how to access from the mac side. I checked out printer center and looked through it but not sure which to use. Any ideas?

Check Apple's site and confirm they support that printer - no driver, no luck

I haven't tried this, but can you connect using smb://yourpc/printershare?

Because Epson didn't bother to write a printer driver for my Photo Stylus 700, I had to buy one from a third-party, www.iproofsystems.com. The driver works very well under OS X althought I'm using it with LPR, not a Windows Share. Not sure if it will work with a Windows share - check their web site. Let me know what you find and I'll check my copy.
