Shutdown on Restart
I was helping my friend do so maintenance on his computer tonight over the phone. The one thing I couldn't solve was that when he would restart his computer it would shut down instead of restarting. He has XP home edition and I did a google search but the solution I was going to use only showed up for Win98 not XP. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, if he was simply hitting the power switch, then that's a software command to Windows XP to shut down. If you hit reset, then it simply resets the computer manually without shutting down the operating system. If he's actually going to Start>Turn Off Computer>Restart and it turns off, then I have no idea what the problem is.
