Are there any ways to get a new video card for a laptop...right now i'm using a compaq 722US....dont laugh i know it sucks...but i wanna play a few games on it....its 1.1Ghz duron with 384MB SdRam...are there any external video cards?

it depends on the laptop, generally the answer is no, my laptop can have its card replaced, but its a high end model and designed to do it

Nope. I have a 710 US (also a 2110 US) and I already researched it to no avail. Sorry, but your stuck with 16/32mb graphics .

I think only Dell and .. crap, there was another enthusiasts-type laptop have replaceable cards.

alienware/cleveo/sager laptops have "replaceable" video cards, which basically means you replace the motherboard, though this latest lot is a replaced motherboard, keyboard, bottom half of the case and psu.....

someone showed me a dell once with an ATI mini pci video card, never seen one again, i think he wangled it somehow
