I'm running Outlook Express 6, with all the current updates and such. Problem is, everytime someone sends me a forwarded email, it doesn't display in the bottom pane. If I double click on the attachment, it'll open in a new window. Problem is, if the message has been forwareded a few dozen times, I have to open each attachment before I find the original message.

Is there an easy way to set it so that the forwarded mail will appear in the bottom pane with just a list of the previous receipients? (When I receive pix as attachments, they view fine. It just seems to be when someone sends a forwarded message attached as a file that I have this problem.)

if i'm not mistake, the forwarder has the option to either forward the mail as an attachment or mail it as text (inclusive).
