Hey guys. I need some recommendations for a decent video capture card.

I need to transfer some VHS tapes to my computer and burn them to CD. If anybody could recommend a good card and where to buy it, I'd really appreciate it.

video captures tend to run cheap, really bad, good and really great,expensive.

all the ones in the middle good area are pretty much the same, the atis, the hauppages, avertec etc, a lot are based on the same chipsets and cost around the same, differences are basically supplied software, driver ability pvr mode etc.

for really great base is usually around +$500
