Help with NetStumbler
My university has many different wireless APs with different throughputs throughout the campus and I was looking for a way to specify each AP's SSID when I want to.
My friend currently does this using NetStumbler and a proprietary Compaq Presario Laptop wireless card. I, myself, have a Broadcom 802.11b Wireless Card and NetStumbler does not even detect the card. When I check auto-GPS and auto-detect options, the error is that the program cannot find the file specified. Does anyone know if NetStumbler just doesn't support my card or of another program I can use that has the same function? Thank you in advance. |

just in the sense that if netstumbler doesnt pick it up when autodetect is on, it probably doesnt support it.
