XP Ugrade Help
I restored my parents PIII emachines computer using the restore CD's that came with the unit. Windows ME was reinstalled. They have a Windows XP upgrade disc which I've used successfully before; however, the validation code has long since been lost. How can I get a new one? Legal and illegal suggestions will be considered. Thanks!

Oops, just saw this: "If you are coming here looking for any warez, ROMs, or serial numbers for any software, you're in the wrong place. Any thread asking about warez will be deleted and you will be warned. Let this serve as your official notice."
I guess I'm only considering legal suggestions now. Will MS give me a new validation code just because I claim to have a disc? |

I doubt they'll give ya one, but it can't hurt to call the support and ask! That's about your only option other than buying a new upgrade.
