How do I undo this?

I've Sprint's PCS Vision. I logged onto the web out of curiosity via the phone, and since I've an AIM account I figured I'd see how it works. Cool. That's nice. Now let's not use that again.

But what happens next? Doesn't matter if I disconnect from the web on the phone, I still get a txt msg on my damn phone every single time someone msgs me on AIM. Every single time.

I've logged back on via phone, signed off from AIM, disconnected. No go, still msgs. Every time.

Does anyone know how to stop this? I tried to log on to the AIM site to see if I could mess with the settings, but all I got was a shitload of error msgs.

Information age my fuckin arse.

If you don't mind risking the contents of your phonebook.

Leave the phone on and pull the battery...

If you'd rather not, turn off the phone, then yank the battery. Let it sit for 5 mintues, put the batt back in and turn it back on.

Give that a go...

Have you tried this:

go to mymobile.aol.com sign in and provide the phone number for your cell phone to your account. Then turn on IM forwarding and you are ready to go.

BTW, what kind of phone do you have? there's a number of user guides on the aol site, maybe on eof them has the info.

you could also contact your PCS provider Sprint and ask them how to disable that "feature"
