I downloaded Flashget as a download manager and it sucks major asssssssssssssssssssssssss. Now I can't get POS program off my computer. Using Add/Remove Programs I am told that it cannot open the Install.exe and cannot uninstall the program. How the hell do I get this POS program off my computer?

This may sound wierd, but I would re-download it, reinstall it, then try to remove. Hopefully the uninstall won't get fucked up this time.

Otherwise, delete the folder its in yourself, and use a program like RegCleaner to remove the keys that it left behind.

I'm seconding RegCleaner here. Very good program to get rid of any registry keys.

And I'm a little suprised that:
A) you don't like flashget
B) you have problems uninstalling it.

Have you checked to see if there is an uninstall option in the Start menu under the Flashget folder?

Browse to the directory it's installed under and nuke it. Then use RegCleaner to clean up your registry.

as stated above your best bet is a reinstall of the crappy prog, and if that doesnt work look for its instal log nuke all installed things and clean ur reg
