I'm looking for something like Mp3 Butcher (mine expired) where I can edit an mp3. I searched for 1 on google and downloaded a few but none of them did what I want.

how are you editing it? if you're just cutting it or something simple you can convert to WAV and use sndrec32.

CoolEdit Pro is what i use for all my audio. There is probably a trial version, try it, and if you like it get the full version.

Definitely SoundForge 6 or later. It's the shit.

or Acid. . . .it's damn good too, and lets you combine mp3's easilly with multitrack editing, which soundforge won't do.

Hey BuddyHawks, did you know that Adobe bought out Syntrillium, the makers of Cool Edit Pro? I just found out a few days ago and I'm still shocked.
