JFK speeches/my early site redesign
Not quite sure where this fits as this thread is mainly sharing the JFK Memorial LP speeches more than promoting my site (which is really not "ready for primetime" yet IMO)
It does look good enough for this,and far better than it did until this morning. Finally got motivated after several months to improve my tiny little corner of the web; all of that admittedly basic design was done this afternoon/evening. index page The speeches mentioned in the thread title are listed under "historical audio" and the direct link (which will probably change soon with further site development) is here currently. The Old Time Radio section is the main focus for me on this site, and that will be improved quite a bit over the next few days hopefully if I make the time for it. edit for both posts: changed a few words

I think your concept is awesome. I'm setting up a site myself and while I've got some great ideas for my content, I don't really have web design skills. I mentioned this to a few of my friends and they set me up with a "will work for beer" web guy who is putting together some really nice stuff. I suggest you go the same route. Your layout is very functional but if you want people to visit the site I think you need more.
It sucks but people like eye candy and they've become used to it. Good content doesn't just make it anymore. Ask around your buds or coworkers.
