Dell Digital Jukebox Music Player
I'm thinking of buying one of these instead of the Ipod. Anyone have one or think this player is any good? Thanks.

I've got one. I love it. No complaints so far, and the battery life is pretty amazing. Mine'll go about 20 hours before a full recharge. I recommend it.

Thanks Jeff for the repy. I went ahead and ordered it. Are the headphones any good that come with it? Any other extras you think are a must?

The DJ comes with some shitty ear buds. You'll definately want to pick up some nice headphones.
You may want to think about a jacket for it, as it can get a little scratched up. I don't use one, but I don't mind a few scratches. It probably comes with the new firmware, but if it doesn't I'd definately upgrade from Dell's website. |
Jeff, I can't fiqure out how to transfer my music from Itunes on to the Dell. Can i do this? Thanks if you can help. Sweet player!
|
You can't use Itunes to transfer to the DJ. If they're AAC tracks, I don't know of any other way to convert them to MP3 than to burn protected AAC files to audio CD format, then rip mp3's off the CD.

I was hoping to download my music from Itunes. What site do you think is best to get music on to my player? Dell is pushing musicmatch. Thanks!

Cheezhead, Try this. This company makes transfer software that is suppose to be the best on the market. They have a free limited version, yes it is ad-less, and a 25 dollar version with a bunch of features. http://www.redchairsoftware.com/dudebox/
