Pixel Shader issue

Win XP home
2.56mhz
512ram
Nvidia GeForce4 MX 420 vid card

Trying to Splinter Cell Pandora tomorrow. The game shuts itself down whenever I try to run the game. So I ran the diagnostic for it. It says that the problem is that I have inadequate pixel shader support. But yet it claims my vid card is compatible with this game. Any thoughts??

no
Your card is only a gf2 with suped up features, it does NOT have the qualities of a Gf4

MX cards are 100% rip offs to the public, and is why they have such bad vibe.

So in essence, you can only emulate pixel shader, i've heard of ways to do it, just dont know of any off the top of my head.

Damnit, thanx man. Guess its time to upgrade the card.

Yeah if you plan on playing any of todays games. :(

A GF4-Ti4200/4600 is still a great card, but why bother when you can get a 9800pro for +-200 bones

I have a AMD 1500 mhz with 256 megs of ram and a 64 meg geforce 3 and Pandora Tommorow runs perfectly on all high settings.
