What to build with these random parts? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I found a few old electric motors, 2 CD player motors, a couple servos, and a RC radio reciever in a bag on my workbench.

I'm bored and feeling creative. I want to make something. What should I make? I have all the parts I need to make my own little RC car. I also have an old cheap Target RC car. Maybe I could mod it or something.

Any ideas?

you could make a mobile jukebox if you still had the cdplayer lasers. That'd be pretty cool.

Mod the RC car with "Extra Buttons" to add robot wars type weapons to it?

Or mod the car to use the servo's to drive the wheels, control it with a microcontroller, add a bump sensor and have a rudimentary mapping robot.
