Criminal Vulgar Legalized Trojans

I feel like starting this thread with a bunch of swearing, but noone here needs to read that kind of useless bile.

just one sec: #@#*&@)(*@)(#$*#)(@#()@*#@*#@)(#*@)(*@#*(&$$*(@&@#)@#)(@*#)(@*#*#@(#*)@)*)#(*

I knew it I dont feel any better and I still want to have any marketing business (if you can call them that) targeted for termination. It takes people to go into what they call work and do this kind of sh*& to people. At least Nigerian million dollar scams give you a choice!!!!!!!!

I somehow got this whenushit on my pc and has showed up as Clocksnyc. Adware doesnt work, spybot doesnt work, I tried turning off read only, moving it only spreads it to more places it cant be deleted, I've tried 4 different delete programs that will supposedly kill anything; anything but this. Ive emailed the company 3 times and have had no repsonse.
whenushop dot com I put it as such because I dont know if going there is safe. I appreciate any help or suggestions anyone has. This should be against the law.

Have you tried to go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall it? What exactly is on your computer, saying "I got this whenushit on my pc" is kind of vague.

Manual removal

Open the registry (Start->Run->regedit) and find the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Delete the 'SaveNow' or 'WhenUSave' value. Reboot and you should be able to delete the 'SaveNow' or 'Save' folder inside 'Program Files'.

To remove the ActiveX objects installed by the Download and Db variants, open the 'Downloaded Program Files' folder inside the Windows folder, and delet the SaveNow object. The name of this is 'WhenUDownload' in the Download variant, 'FC327B3F-377B-4CB7-8B61-27CD69816BC3' in the Db variant, and 'E2F2B9D0-96B9-4B25-B90C-636ECB207D18' in the WUInst variant.
Try that. I haven't actually done it but it looks like it should work

You should be able to delete the program after terminating it. If you run XP/2000....

1. Hit CTRL-ALT-Del and run the Task Manager.

2. Click on the Processes Tab

3. Click on the Image Name section to reorder the programs running alphabetically.

4. Now I never had the programs on my PC that you speak of and don't know what it would be called but look for a file either called, adware.exe, savenow.exe, clcksync.exe or something similar. You should be able to locate such programs easily.

5. Select the file you want to stop running.

6. Click the End Process button on the bottom right

7. Click Yes at the dialog box.

8. Repeat for each program.

9. Then try to delete the program/files now.

If you still cannot delete the program/files, you should at least be able to keep them from loading at boot up, which also should let you delete them.

Try this (XP/20000/ME/98/95)

1. Click on the Start Menu

2. Click on Run...

3. In the Run Dialog box type "msconfig"

4. Click OK

5. Click on the Startup tab

6. Now look for any files listed above or anything you don't want running at Windows startup for that matter.

7. Uncheck the boxes of those programs you don't want loaded.

8. Click OK

9. It will ask to restart you PC, click Yes.

After reboot now try to delete the programs/files you want.

I see you fixed your problem...but have you tried Adaware or Spybot ? I really like spybot, it can even "immunize" your system to make it less susceptible.

You should make it a point to keep current with Windows Update, and have a look at your security settings under tools-internet options-security. Maybe try using an alternative browser instead of IE, like Mozilla -- it can even be set to block popups and cookies. Internet Explorer makes it real easy to pick up these web viruses.

Just some suggestions for everyone that should lessen the chance of you getting this crap....good luck!

I have gotta say go with Mozilla in the future. It doesn't allow any popups...None. And I have the security set so that it prompts me before saving anything like that to my machine.
