What version of AIM is the best (details within)? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Heya everyone.

I would like to use the latest free version of DeadAIM (Version 3.2.8) with the best version of AIM.

I am not sure what versions of AIM DeadAIM 3.2.8 works with, but ideally I'd like to find out and use that combo.

Does anyone know which is the most recent (or best, if not most recent) version of AOL Instant Messenger that will work with DeadAIM 3.2.8?

im not sure, but i like trillian better then deadaim

trillian user here for windows, and gaim for linux. both support jabber.

Logging, SecureIM, and the whole multiple networks thing...

There are dozens of skins if you don't like the way it looks. (I use the Silver XP one)

Last I checked this wasn't a "what do you use" thread

A quick google search told me that DeadAIM 3.2.8 can work with AIM 5.2.3292

I run AIM 5.2.3292 w/ AIMutation 1.2.4 and I find that to work the best.

to answer the original posters question i believe deadaim 3.2.8 is compatible with all aim versions up to 5.2.

5.2x is the best version of AIM in my opinion

Redjake I'm a family man - I run a family business. Location: Wilson, NC	5.2x is the best version of AIM in my opinion __________________ Off the record, on the q.t., and very hush-hush.
