Does anyone know anything about the Futura font?
Is this it used for the word Quicksilver?

I love the expression in that Q and would love to aquire that font if it is Futura.
Any graphic designers in the house?

Not at all futura as a matter of fact:



but, running it through whatthefont.com tells me without a doubt that it's Mrs Eaves, a font from Emigre, one of my favourite foundries

And, no, it's not free. Which basically ends the 'how do I acquire' discussion

Holy smokes, that's cool.

And just for kicks, I tried searching the web for that font to see if there was a knockoff. I ended up on a "hidden text"-using porn site that used the header phrase "is eaves font free mrs, The: eaves trou"!! Thought it was a message board posting, they got me. Guess it is a popular font!

Man, I had no idea that a site like that existed. Amazing!

I wish I had that in my last semester at school where I did a report up with a graphical flow-chart. When I went to creat another one to match it, I couldn't find the font I used, and I was on a loaned computer, so I had to get a close (read obviously friggin' diffferent) font for the second one, and they looked like crap side-by-side.

Anyway, this thread has changed my life. Thanx...
