| Slave of Fear | I am using Zone Alarm Pro running on Windows ME. It just does it sometimes. Could it be I am not granting permission to something the ISP needs? Running DSL through the local phone company. I am sure it is Zone Alarm because when I turn it off speed returns to normal. |

| Psycho Location: Lost Angeles | Frowning, It sounds like your not letting something access the internet through Zone alarm. As I asked earlier what is in the programs catagory in ZA?? If you have Generic Host process server...ALLOW PDP RPC Server....Allow Services and controller app...Allow These are Windows programs that I have to allow for my connection to work correctly through ZA. You may also try dslreports.com and run a tweak test to make sure all is well with your connection, you will find it in the tools catagory on the web page.
