How to convert a music DVD to mp3?
 

Bought a music dvd and would like to burn a mp3 music for the car with the music from the DVD. How is that done or can it be done?

I run the audio out from my DVD player into my Hi-Fi and run an audio only CD writer from it. I get very good quality results, but have to manually increment the track numbers.

Once I've done that, I've got an audio CD I can process exactly like any other.

There are software tools that let you rip the audio from DVD direct to mp3 or wav, but I've not used them, so I can't comment.

it would most likely be done with the assistance of a computer, so I'll move this to that forum :)
