@Chris Noyb did the texans not have a first round pick this year? their drafting so far looks mediocre. From what i saw last season their defensive line looks horrible, with that said they only have taken a defensive tackle for the line. the other was a line backer and a corner on defense.... what are they thinking?
Source: Eagles trading for 49ers WR Marquise Goodwin The Philadelphia Eagles are trading for San Francisco 49ers WR Marquise Goodwin, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Eagles and 49ers flipped sixth-round picks, with Philadelphia also getting Goodwin, according to a source.
I hope so! If he becomes a starting calibre QB he could be the steal of the draft. Not that he has to take Josh's job away, but he would easily command a trade for a much higher pick than was used to take him.
No. Bill "Screw Me On A Trade" O'Brien traded the two first rounds picks to the Dolphins. Our defensive line needs help. Watt isn't getting any younger. No steals? I dunno.
winston signed with the saints. Thats one expensive quarterback room. how long til aaron rodgers is traded or retires?
What happens with the 2020/2021 NFL season is still unknown. If Winston makes the Saints team, I'm sure he's in for a big pay cut. He, and his agent, have to know his window as a starter is nearly closed. It's possible somebody might be able to teach him to read defenses, but......... One of Rodgers' strengths is his ability to thread the needle. What happens when his reaction time slows down, and the incompletions and interceptions go up?
He was offered more money by other teams, but he decided he wanted to learn under breeze. maybe hes growing up
I honestly don't understand that. Yes, the potential to rack yards and points is there, but that doesn't mean much if Winston consistently gives the ball back.
this is true, but i think he is hoping to learn something from breeze and sean peyton. but we will see
Dalton to the Cowboys. I never understand what the hell the Cowboys are thinking. So much talent, so much money spent, such poor results....
A mediocre GM (and owner) who can't be fired, who thinks he knows talent, who goes after (and keeps) players he likes rather than players that make sense, who doesn't foresee (more likely chooses to ignore) future salary cap issues, who loved his mediocre HC. Add a mediocre HC who had the full support of the GM ( and owner). I hope they pay Dalton like a starter, so that their salary cap issues get worse. I wouldn't be surprised if jackass jerry thinks Prescott is holding back the offense. Dalton as an experienced back-up making back-up money would make sense, but I don't see Dalton seeing himself as a back-up.
Dalton is on a one year contract paying 7M? That's not a huge amount in the NFL, but it makes no sense for Dalton (unless he just wants a really long paid vacation). It's possible jackass jerry is playing mind games with Prescott. If Prescott has even of half a functioning brain he'll know Dalton is no threat.
Heck of a coach. They played a lot of good football in Miami when I used to watch NFL during the 70’s/80’s. He seemed a straight-up guy. RIP Mr. Shula.
