I would love to go to the Bills-Steelers game.
But it's a night game in the middle of December in Buffalo.
Would have to leave the kids home and go with a friend who loves the Steelers.
Would be way too cold for them and I'm thinking it might be too cold for me too!

That would be a cold ass game, but probably a great game at the same time.

    what is more likely??
    1. Brady and gronk have a phenomenal season
    2. bellichek and the pats win another fucking superbowl?

personally i hope they both choke.

the bucks vs the saints game will be the first ever game where both starting quarterbacks are over 40 years old.

i hope the lions kick ass this year, they need it

the texans are playing on thanksgiving day again.

I think the colts signed rivers to help bring jacob eason up to speed. I think in a year or so it will be the Jacob Eason show. I think eason will be loved in indy like manning was

The Bills seem to be moving up (although I'm not sold on your QB).

The Texlers are moving down. I hope they have a brutal schedule (haven't checked it yet), so that OB gets exposed sooner and more often. If he turns out to be the next Belichick while with the Texlers, I might even buy some team gear that doesn't come from thrift stores.

I'm right there with you re: Josh Allen.
This will be a telling season for him and for the team.
We know he has what it takes physically.
But does he have the right stuff between his ears? I'm really not sure. I'm hoping the coaches can get the stupid immature stuff out of his repertoire.

Jake Fromm is wayyyy better than Josh Allen.

Fromm is a really interesting pick for us.
Nobody expects anything from him this year, and I think in that way he's fortunate.
It's going to be very tough to be a rookie this year, with limited team activities and practice time, if there even is a season.
All he has to do is make the roster as the third string QB, and learn as he goes along.
If he does well with that he will be Josh's backup the following season......and since we don't know how Josh will turn out, or if he can avoid injury it puts Fromm very close to seeing the field for meaningful playing time.

It sure is cold in buffalo compared to Georgia. lol
who is the other QB that the bills have? Yes i agree, learning will help him this year.
The question is what does the future hold for Josh Allen?

Great kid, smart, and lots of leadership skill.
And that he performed poorly at the combine so teams backed off from drafting him.
Arm strength seems to be the major question, but they quoted people who know him and have worked with him, who think he will be just fine in that department.

I'm excited to see how he turns out.
If he can become a successful back up and some team wants to take him on as a starter after a year or two, that could net a second or third round pick in exchange.
I don't see any downside for the Bills in taking him and the upside looks potentially huge.

The Jets are really, really bad. Like, could be 0-16 bad.
The Bills? My concern is that it's year 3 for Josh Allen, and he isn't getting any smarter. He isn't developing the mental aspect of his game.
Two terrible fumbles today and took some unneeded licks that could have ended his (and by extension the Bills) season.

FWIW Fromm was a disappointment in training camp.
Had they not spent a 5th rounder on him he very well may have been cut.

I'm still "boycotting" the Texlers until they reach the SB, or fire O'Brien.

They sucked against the Chiefs. Seven early points, and 13 garbage time points. While letting the Chiefs score on six of seven consecutive possessions. Typical Texlers under OB.

And Hopkins had a monster game.

Probably in part to tell OB "FUCK YOU!".

OB seems to think he can run things the iron-fisted Belichick way.* And also like Belichick he seems to think his system will work with just about any players. Belichick's methods work because he's earned his reputation, and he's a damn good offensive coach. OB has long way to go, and his offenses so far are grossly predictable.

He showed limitations before he was made GM, and has blundered as GM. Fire him already.

    * It seems Belichick is handling Newton very gently. Which is probably a wise move. That so far has paid off. Cam is a little battered for his relatively young age, but with the right protection and some confidence work he could keep the Patriots viable for several years.

    Dear Atlanta Falcons Special Teams:

On the onsides kick the cowgirls had to wait for the ball to travel 10 yards before touching it; you could've fielded it at any time.

But since the team, esp the defense, blew a 15 point lead with less than six minutes left, you pretty much deserved to lose. Because you are losers.

    --------

Bengals fans should petition the NFL for a new team.

    --------

Brady as a ball control QB? A la Peyton Manning?
