29 Day Fitness Challenge

    More of a reminder to myself, so I don't forget: knocked out 50 squats and all the pushups just a bit ago. Might continue to add squat reps as the day continues, when we aren't busy. Leg lifts, it is ON after work. Bring it.

    I've had a few really really miserable days (lots of tears actually), so I've skipped 3 days of this challenge. :( I'm such a loser! I plan on making them all up tonight (in sets, of course), but I still feel pretty miserable about it.

    Damn, 130 squats take up a good portion of the day.

    I made up days 10, 11, and 12.. and did day 13. Plus 5 extra squats because I forgot to take 5 off of my last set.

    So thankful for that squat rest day in there!

    blah...can't we switch the number of leglifts and squats?? :rolleyes:

    Ok, Day 14 down
    Squats in sets of 25 for the first 100 thru the day, then 20 & 15 tonight.
    Leglifts in 6 sets of 15 at once
    (thank god we didn't have push-ups, that wouldn't mix with a heavy pasta dinner...and the leglifts sure didn't..."blech" :confused:)

    Oh yeah...this is going to be interesting to try to accomplish at the end.
    Especially the last 2 days...that's when I start my new job.
    Try explaining those 250 squats in your office on the 2nd day to a new boss & staff. (bad visual... :eek: )

    Ha! Speaking of..I just realized I'll be spending all of day 29 at the airport. Awesome!

    Also: day 14 is all done. w00t!

    Finished day 14 late last night, as in super early this morning.

    While I was waiting in the airport lash night, a dude dropped down onto the floor to knock out some push-ups. I'd contemplated taking care of day 14 there in the airport, but I was feeling a bit self conscious. Good on this dude for not caring!

    Not a progress update/check-in, but I was thinking about this last night...and I have to say, I'm really glad this thread is here. On the days when I don't get to this challenge until later in the day, and I'd rather just say fuck it and go to bed, I think to myself, "no, I have to check in." So, thanks for that, guys :)

    Actually, there was one day I fell asleep in front of the TV after a long day at work...and when I woke up a couple of hours later...kicked out the rest of the squats due...then the pushups & leglifts.
    My mom who was visiting said forget about them...I don't want to get my adrenaline pumping,
    but I said, nope...got to do what's due...by hook or crook.

    It's kind of fun to join in the group, I'm usually a loner when working out...except for Karate, but that's different.
    Thanks for the cheers....and listening to me bitch.

    Damn, it was a bitch getting those squats out...they're fully using me for my last days.

    And now, I'm going zzzzz...because I'm a pooped pup. Night nite all.
