    Am I the only one who...

    Keeps their phone on airplane mode when I'm out unless I'm expecting a call?

    Sings a song when washing hands?

    Daydreams about mowing the lawn?

    Speaks another language when drunk?

    I get annoyed at the fan in the shower.
    Or wind blowing from a car window.

    I think my mind doesn't like white noise or random noise...it has to be smooth or have a pattern. Like it analyzes it.

    Was a band/orchestra geek in school, and 15+ years later still listen to and love that kind of music?

    Really prefer music without words/lyrics?

    You actually speak another language when drunk? That seems strange (maybe it isn't?), unless you're reverting to your first language, or a very close second language (say being raised in a bi-lingual home), which would be normal.

    My speech when drunk was frequently indecipherable, but I was speaking English
    ......I think :confused:.

    French.
    I dream in it, too. Lived in French immersion housing for a while during undergrad and did 2 study abroad semesters in different French speaking countries.

    Nope, not alone. Am rather chagrined about it tho' in my defense am booking work through it and my response time is a huge factor so I'm sort of trigger-happy right now.

    Am I the only one wigged out by the state of the (American) nation? When I'm super-busy in my personal life (this past week) I have less time to keep up. A day or two later, I take a look and it is just as awful as it's been.
    Anyone else getting mentally and emotionally exhausted or am I the only one?

    Is anyone else willing to stop something they're watching, reading, eating??

    Even if you paid money for it?

    If a book doesn't hit me...I won't force myself to read it.
    If I'm in the theater...and a movie is horrible, I'll walk out.
    If a drink isn't what I thought I wanted...I'll ask for a different one, even if it costs me more.

    Yet, I rarely return purchases...
    I hate doing that...my old best friend and my ex...they were experts in returning, constantly...even to just try...then return.

    I don't speak another language, but I DO somehow affect both a Southern drawl and a Great Lakes accent after quite a few. I have no idea how this happens, as I've never lived farther north than Columbus, Ohio (as for the drawl, well, I've lived in NC for seven years, so...yeah.)

    Yeah. I'm no good at sending things back. I donate them instead.
    I now quit books if they aren't worthy and I'll quit a TV series a few episodes in. I have not actually been to an awful movie in a very long time--maybe because I'm super-choosey?

    I am good with no humans. Just today, I was in the most tranquil setting--the Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens. It was incredibly lush and peaceful until a loud human would come by yammering on about whatever...I just...I cannot deal with people talk, talk, talking and saying basically nothing.
