Best weapon for killing Zombies

Is it? Im not so sure. Does a zombie use 100% of its brain? I would doubt it. If not, a 22lr to the wrong part of the head is just another ignorable flesh wound for a zombie.

 

people don't use 100% of their brain but they're just as dead when they get a .22 dose of lead poisoning

 

A 22lr may not have stopping power but it probably won't go all the way through. It will penetrate and just bounce around a bit destroying the zombie "brain"

 

Yeah, but you can shoot a zombie in the heart and he'll just keep coming at you. Don't make the common zombie apacolypse mistake of anthromorphizing the walking undead.

but we're not talking about which part of a zombie to hit. we're talking about which caliber bullet to use. heart shot = discussion irrelevance


i still think that gravity and a really simple bait combined with a tall building is the cheapest, most efficient, and most effective cure for the undead

I am with baraka on this. Your brain is the best weapon. Avoid contact with the contagion.

A shopping mall is a great location (see the film) but watch out for the inevitable group dynamics.

I don't know much about guns but would agree that a shotgun is a bad choice. Something light and easy to reload with a good magazine. I would rather have a cricket bat or a katana.

You guys are over-thinking this.

1) Dig a big hole.
2) Stand on side of hole opposite the zombies.
3) Zombies fall in the hole and cannot get out.
4) Enjoy a delicious beverage and go on about your day.

 

But I'm half a mile away travelling at 200miles per hour...
