I don’t want to make a mountain out of a molehill
I think this tweet lends some perspective
And the media is losing focus
And falling into the GOP’s classic trap

No, they’re not all the same.

It’s a hiccup compared to massive diarrhea.

Joe’s got some bigger crap to worry about.

You're preaching to the choir re the gravity of the offenses ;).

I believe Biden is being unnecessarily stubborn, again, & it is hurting him.

Biden needs to drop the "I have no regrets" defiance.

The Right is exaggerating the situation.

    The news media is feeding.

Biden's refusal to say "I should've returned the documents, & shouldn't forgotten I had them" is hurting him.

There is two things I'm certain are accurate: Biden isn't the only politician, & other high ranking officials, who mishandled classified documents. None of those people come close to NPD Trump's mishandling/ abuse of power.

I’ll take care of the cleanup when I’m on my laptop

    Meanwhile…

Who is Jeff Zients? — CNN Politics

    Hopefully, this goes through
Interesting pick for the new Chief of Staff

Not political, seems more like a troubleshooter.
That’s good…there’s tons to clean up still after T’s administration.

And the politics seem to be taking care of themselves
With the opposition acting like the Keystone Kops.
And the economy doing fairly decent.

Biden can then focus on the big stuff.
Russia, China and the internal ultra right extremists.
Rooting out these mischief makers would make things safer.

It would be nice to not have assholes adding to our burdens and woes.
    Finally

    And no sooner than said...
Pence was found to have some too.
This screws up GOP messaging on "Biden bad".

However, there's a big difference between Biden & Pence and what T did...molehill vs mountain.
Both B & P didn't need requests, were up front, cooperated and gave back ASAP...and they were in non-public places.
T resisted, dug his heals in, kept many, had tons...and they were in VERY public places.
Same type, but the response was night & day.

And there's lots of officials who can take classified doc off-site...but there's no real governance or enforcement to clean up afterwards.
As said, there's likely docs in many places from many people.

    Biden: Homey don’t play that…

One good thing, Biden has a ton of lessons learned from Obama’s time.

Obama tried to play nice with the GOP
And found out, they don’t play nice.

    So Joe knows…
He’ll play hardball, let the GOP hang itself.

But he’ll make sure to protect the economy.
The nation’s cred is at stake.

Something the GOP doesn’t care about.
That ship has sailed long ago.

The people in East Palestine, OH, are seriously POd.

I'm not sure what Biden ws/is thinking. Even if he it did only for show (positive optics, if you like), he should've spoken out more strongly earlier, & at the very least immediately sent Buttigieg.

So of course the repubs are capitalizing on the situation. Trump put in an appearance, even though the relaxing of regulations is on him.

Ohio's toxic spill is unleashing poisonous, partisan politics | CNN Politics

IMO another black mark for President Joe.

    And totally unnecessary.
Why do we need to deal with this BS?

All it does is traumatize the world economy.
    And holds one side hostage.

We really just need to get our shit together.
    And stop overspending.

This does NOT mean smaller safety net programs
    But the gluttony of industry.

    I’m a capitalist, don’t mind a profit.
But we’re throwing money, billions, for huge contracts
And helping out companies that don’t need help

It’s not the philosophy that is wrong
It’s the excess, lack of checks and not enforcing.

Look at the percentages of what goes where.
And ask of the LARGER ones do we really need that much???

Whittling away at tiny things, doesn’t make a difference
And the debt ceiling is used to do this.

Meanwhile the things truly making it go high
    Are not touched.

We’re shooting ourselves in the foot
Focusing on multivitamins while we’re bleeding out.

Get rid of the false flag (debt limit)
    Stop having it panic everyone
And having to cater to power hungry

And finally start chiseling away at the BIG costs.

Right now, we’re spoiled brats living on credit.

After Calling Joe Biden Senile, Republicans Complain He Outsmarted Them

Uhhh, ya can't have it both ways...

Joe is doing well, and he's playing it smart.
AND the economy is humming (great employment figures)

IF the media would stop harping on the negatives and speculating on crisises that never come.
"What ifs" as if they're going to really happen.

He's been around, he knows what he's doing.
Probably one of our most experienced presidents we've had in modern times.

And yes GOP, he's not dumb.
But y'all are claiming he is.
Sooner or later people are going to figure it out.

And he's not going to be foolish like Obama and keep thinking you'll play fair.

This old dude is a hip dude.
Let his shades do the talkin', as y'all are walking.

I'm sure the 'Joe Biden trips & falls' memes and comments are flying. Ford got hammered, but he was much younger.

If Biden can get another term... And if Trump or DeSantis end up being the guy... Quite frankly, I'm not convinced it matters who runs against him... But if he gets another term and somehow fenagles protection for women's health care/abortion/LGBTQ he may go down as one of the best Presidents in modern history.

It's time to check in on President Joe. It appears that he's doing what he normally does, works & remains mostly silent.

Counselori Giuliani says one of the key witnesses to the Great Biden Family Bribery Schemes (GBFBS) has died. Other Republicans mentioning GBFBS don't seem sure of who said what, & who might have what evidence.
