Cannes France

I "found" some pictures again for what was probably the 3rd or 4th time while attempting to straighten some of the mess around here. These are from the first Med Cruise I did back in 1996 and one of our stops was in Cannes. Great fun and nice pictures, especially considering they are all that I have left from the few I took in the first place while in the service.
I lost that camera in Israel if memory serves but fortunately had that roll developed at some point.
I am including my scan of two items I picked in Bahrain as there is little if anything else of interest I can add from my navy days and they fit in here well enough.
Anywho, enough chatter - on to the pictures. I shall upload them as they are ready, I had to scan the pictures to TIFF files which are then loaded in Photoshop, and bla bla bla, eventually to my flikr account.

A casino in Cannes France

 

That Casino is part of the complex that houses the Palais des Festivals which is where the red carpet screenings for the Film Festival are held. It's also where I spend two weeks out of each year, shopping for new television programs.

 

Purchased in the Bahrain International Airport no doubt in 1999 when I was heading back to the States
Front and Back scanned in and combined with Photoshop CS 6.

That makes sense. That picture is one of my favourites out of that set, it looks to me like the slightly cropped version I posted could use a slight vertical/horzitonal adjustment but just going to stick with what I posted already.
