This is the grave of Mary Ellis (1750-1828).
In those day people often buried family on their property.
When the family sold the property to the movie theater the one condition was that her grave had to be kept where it was.

 

A family near Brenham, TX had property that included a family cemetery. They had to sell the property, and the new owners fenced it so that the family had access to the family plot. The land was sold again, and the new owners knowingly cut off access to the plot.

What made their action even more ridiculous is the plot was about fifty yards from the property line. How difficult would it be to continue to allow access?

 

Some people just have to be assholes.

Built on Roman ruins (looks like a tomb or crypt to me), York, England. I've been to York, didn't see this.
