Yesterday, Sarah Palin revived her widely debunked claim that Affordable Care Act will create "death panels" to determine which citizens are worthy of health care.

"I reiterate what I wrote in my first post on this topic nearly three years ago.* I stand by everything I wrote in that warning to my fellow Americans because what was true then is true now, and it will remain true as we hear what the Supreme Court has to say."
*"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society' whether they are worthy of health care," she wrote as the law was being debated. "Such a system is downright evil."

She should stick to what she knows best - whoring out her family to reality tv.

Not only has the Muslim Brotherhood infiltrated the DOJ and DHS (according to Michelle Bachmann), but Rush is now claiming that Hilary Clinton has direct ties to the Muslim Brotherhood as well through her Deputy Chief of Staff's mother's friendship with the wife of the new president of Egypt.

LIMBAUGH: Huma Abedin, Mrs. Anthony Weiner, Mrs. Huma Weiner, she is Hillary Clinton’s number one aide. And Huma’s mother is best friends with the new First Lady of Egypt, the wife of the new Muslim Brotherhood guy, Morsi. That’s really all you need to know. But there’s much more to know. That’s why Hillary is out celebrating the brotherhood. That’s why Hillary is joining Obama in telling the military to give it up for the Brotherhood guy. Because Huma’s mom, there’s actually a group, the Muslim Sisterhood, essentially, that is an offshoot of the Brotherhood. And Huma’s mom is best friends with the new so-called First Lady of Egypt, who is also a member of the Sisterhood. Folks, it’s Peyton place. It’s too much to keep up with.

Shame on Hilary for having such a nefarious aide.

Hey, you know what's way, way worse and far, far more dangerous than democratic Islam? Islamophobia.

Wes Riddle, running for Congress in Texas who vows to begin Obama's impeachment on his first day in office:
The maritime boundary agreement to which he refers and is the basis for his impeachment rant was ratified by the Senate in 1991 during the GHW Bush administration by a vote of 89-6, including both senators from Alaska. Since it was ratified by the old Soviet Union, which collapsed shortly thereafter, and not the present Russian Federation, it evidently is not binding even as the Russians have agreed to abide by its terms, but want to renegotiate because they believe the US got the better deal. Neither Clinton nor G W Bush had any interest in renegotiating, but its Obama's fault and an impeachable offense!

Ed Rollins, Republican campaign consultant, after being asked on Fox News whether the demographic stereotype about the Republican party is true.
Well, gee, you think Republican policies and recent budget proposals are really attractive to women and minorities and conducive to broadening the base?

    Romney surrogates exposing Obama's socialism:

    Former NY governor Sununu:
"I wish this president would learn how to be an American"
"This guy doesn’t understand how to create jobs...and we shouldn’t be surprised about that, because he spent his early years in Hawaii smoking something, spent the next set of years in Indonesia, another set of years in Indonesia, and, frankly, when he came to the U.S. he worked as a community organizer, which is a socialized structure...

US Tea Party Senator Johnson from Wisc:
O’BRIEN: You’re surely not suggesting that the idea and the concept behind Solyndra and other green energies like Solyndra is comparable to the Soviet Union and Cuba, right?
JOHNSON: No, I am suggesting that, because when you take taxpayer money and you invest that into businesses, that’s the taxpayer money put at risk. And let’s face it, the lesson of the Soviet Union and other socialist nations is that governments are very poor allocators of capital. It’s an economic model that doesn’t work.
O’BRIEN: Didn’t it work in Massachusetts? Isn’t that exactly what Governor Romney did in Massachusetts in green energy when he was the governor of Massachusetts?
JOHNSON: Listen, the path we need to take this country on is with free enterprise system, the private sector that creates long term self-sustaining jobs and that’s exactly what Governor Romney would do as President Romney.

And I thought investing in Solyndra was crony capitalism, not socialism.

    Today's Limbaugh rant:
"I think it can now be said, without equivocation -- without equivocation -- that this man hates this country. He is trying, Barack Obama is trying, to dismantle, brick-by-brick, the American dream. There's no other way to put this. There's no other way to explain this."

Again, it seems the average American (even the average American politician) doesn't quite know what socialism is. They look at it as something bad by default, and yet it operates as an integral aspect of their own country and has for decades. American prosperity has essentially been capitalism tempered with socialism. Any recent disruption and unrest has been a result of capitalism running amok, not socialism.

If Obama is guilty of anything it's having to conduct knee-jerk reactions to the shit that has been building since Reagan unhinged much of what was in place before him. If that's socialism, then it is, at worst, bitter medicine.

Subsidizing new clean energy technologies in socialism; subsidized big oil or agri-business is not, nor was subsidizing the 19th century railroad barons.

Obama bailing out GM is socialism; Reagan bailing out Chrysler was not.

Minimum wages and labour laws are considered nanny-statism, but tariffs and quotas enacted since the Founding Fathers aren't.

Or maybe the Founding Fathers were socialists just like Reagan!

Or as Paul Ryan said recently in attempting to justify his massive budget cuts to programs providing a temporary safety net, any form of public assistance erodes the “moral fiber” of the poor and working class in need of temporary assistance through no fault of their own.
A generous safety net “lulls able-bodied people into lives of complacency and dependency, which drains them of their very will and incentive to make the most of their lives. It’s demeaning.”

Well, you know, poverty builds character. God helps those who help themselves.

I mean, let's look to some other countries that don't have much (or any) of this mansy-pansy social safety net bullshit: Haiti, Uganda, Rwanda, Niger, Sierra Leone, Cambodia, Kenya (and I'm guessing all of the 'Stans).

They're not doing too bad, are they? ("Morally" speaking, not economically, now....)

Well, it's mostly going to be Catholic with sprinklings of Protestant, Buddhist, voodoo and other indigenous practices, and the moslem faith.

You know how Christianity virtually destroyed much of Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean with love.

Just stay away from Niger and Sierra Leone, as they haven't yet embraced Jesus in the divine tittyfuck.

Oh, and Cambodians are anti-creationist polytheist Buddhists, which is the worst.
