Is everyone's woman one drink away?

Discussion in 'Tilted Life and Sexuality' started by becauseican6872, Apr 16, 2014.

  1. I have had countless men tell me that they think everyone woman is one drink away from having fun with another woman. I can tell you , it's something I have never thought of, and did not want. Okay, well there was one time at a strip club and she was what I would call a spinner woman, and I had a female crush , and kissed her.
Are we really one drink away? I can promise you as of today, I do not want to go down on a woman. Would I maybe be open to something if the stars and moons lined up correctly, maybe. I really dislike most women, and I have found very few attractive. Do most men want this, or need it on their bucket list?

Women are no different than men; if women are one drink away from a homosexual experience, then men are. So your statement above confirms that countless men are, indeed, fucking idiots that will say anything to manipulate women.

    Funny how silly absolutes are.

No, most men don't need it or need it on their bucket list (which, by definition is something that you really want). It's an interesting fantasy, but I certainly would not consider it anything critical to my sexual life. Granted, if the circumstances were right, I think it would be fun, but a lot of that would depend on who the other two parties are, and their relationship. A threesome with 2 completely random girls that don't know each other? No thanks. That's not for me.

And I've never kissed one of my male friends when drunk. Or felt the desire to.

Human sexuality is much more complicated than absolutes can even contemplate. I suggest that you do your best to abandon binary thinking when dealing with it.

Damn. I wasted all those pixels when you had the perfect answer. I feel sorry for all of those trees that died millions of years ago were turned to coal and then used to fire the plants to make the electricity that powered my computer.

I blame this myth for many of the misconceptions surrounding bisexuality.

Sure, if your tolerance is low.

    Ba-dum-tsh.

Okay, seriously. The guys who are telling you this, probably just want to get you drunk and into a threesome. Or watch you make out with another woman. *shrug*

It is in the sense that you feel pressure to do something you're not comfortable with, just because you think you have to do it to make your man happy, or because you think everyone is doing it and you're weird for not doing it.

Alcohol, and drugs, lowers inhibitions. You could make the argument that a person, female or male, who engages in homosexual activities after drinking wanted it before the alcohol took affect.

With that said, getting really drunk and/or stoned could lead to activities that a person would normally not engage in.

    What RedSneaker posted.

Deep inside every so-called "straight" woman, a lesbian lies dormant. It awakens after one too many vodka Red Bulls.

This is called, tentatively, "vodka Red Bull dykism."

Not an expert on the subject but my daughter who tends to like her girlfriends more on the straight side says, 'sort of'.

Her thought is there are a large number of woman who would give it a try given the right circumstances and partner.
Often the right circumstances involve alcohol.
She also says that many straight woman don't need all that much of a push.
The problem is they think they are in love and want to move in with you right away.

I really don't know how I get into these conversations with my kids.

Actually, it's great that they're comfortable enough with you, to talk with you.
That and have the self-confidence to be aware and express themselves.
I don't know how it is for you though. (I'd guess you'd have to intellectualize it in your head, kind of like a doctor)
