Breakfast gets you on your feet, and dinner is filling, but lunch exists only as an in between point between lunch and dinner

Not only is it something I enjoy and need, but it also gives me an all important break at work each day.

Sorry, lunch is a necessity for most.
Especially me, since I'm hypoglycemic...and I like food.

Just because something isn't for you...or you can get away with it,
doesn't mean it's "stupid" or there's a need to get rid of it.

Isn't it a bit self-centered to think your world is everyone else's world??

Just enjoy the fact you can save a bit of time and money on not eating lunch.
While most of the rest of us will enjoy sitting down relaxing and getting away...and chowing down on some good food.

    It works out for all.

Lunch time is often my first meal of the day. If I'm alone, I rarely eat breakfast, although I might have a handful of grapes or berries. I'll have my main meal usually around 1:00pm.

I love lunch, most days. Not only does it break up my day, but it tends to be my biggest meal of the day. And, it's usually leftovers of something yummy I made or ordered, because I tend towards smaller dinners.

I do coffee for breakfast, lunch is generally my first and larger meal of the day.

Lunch is a very social meal. During the week, I'll pick up a sandwich at Potbelly at least 3 days/week and eat in our lunchroom where I'll often sit with with co-workers that I dont generally work with regularly; once a week, I'll go out with co-worker or business associate for combined social and business lunch (today, I had lunch with a former assistant of mine who is now the lobbyist for The Hershey Company).

Weekend lunches are often a chance to check out new restaurants with friends.

I think one of Joe Rogan's guests talked about this at llength, about genetic markers and your familial origins in the world being indicators for what your meal schedule would ideally be like. Like for me for instance it's a mix of native american and northern european (of course) so the northern european means i can't digest bread as well so I buy sourdough, and sauerkraut, & such. Then the native side craves spicy stuff and minimizes on sugar intake just as well as the white side of me. both ides of me thrive on less sugar.

Conscious fiddling with my epigenetic switches in doing stuff with my environment to change my diet for this or that benefit

Sometimes I miss a meal, sometimes I have extra snacks. it can seem chaotic but I'm just doing self-study and repeated experimentation on myself :D
