Male Circumcision

I am uncut and the thought of having my foreskin chopped off gives me the creeps. Growing up all my friends wanted to feel my foreskin to see what it was like and how it slides up and down. This sometimes led to other things. Circumcision is definitely child mutilation, even for religious reasons. Let the boy grow up and let him decide for himself without any pressure if he wants his foreskin sliced off his penis.

 

My Sisters two Sons are not circumcised. Me and my two sons are. We had this discussion and pain was her view. Cleanliness is my point of view. Even if we discard the religious right it is still easier to keep that area cleaner which is a daily maintenance need

 

I'll wash it then over getting it removed.

I also wonder if the few cases of penile cancer that get brought up as a reason to remove it is eliminated with the Gardasil vaccine. Since I would bet it is the same HPV that causes cervical cancer that would also cause penile cancer.

 

I didn't have a choice (circumcised as an infant). I do find that the "scar tissue" area of my penis (about an inch wide band just below the head) is very sensitive and can cause premature ejaculation.

 

The penile cancer excuse is just another one of the urban legends spread by the circumcision zealots. On average 150 babies die of bothced circumcisions int he US; on the other hand on average 12 men die of penile cancer in the US. If non -consensucal circumcision is outlawed (as it should be as an infringement of human rights) we would save on average 140 lives per year!

 

mine is done. was done when I was an infant. don't remember anything about it. if it wasn't done then not sure if I would be willing to go through it now at 35

 

I'm cut. It happened when I was too young to remember.

I'm a bit resentful that it happened when I was too young to make the decision myself, but I can't change it so the "no use crying over spilt milk" argument comes in to play. At least for me, personally.

I do wonder what I'm missing sometimes. Legend (and research) has it that there's tons of nerve endings in the foreskin that can enhance pleasure, so the purely curious side of me is a little bit disappointed that this is something I'll never get to experience.

 

I don't think I came back here to update after hubs had to have his done. After a number of frenulum tears, he had it done about a year or so ago. There is nothing quite like the terror of watching fresh blood pour down a penis you love dearly when the gauze fell off too soon. It's healed well, but he was miserable for a long time.

 

Does he notice any differences, sexually?

Sometimes. At first we needed a lot of lube, but my system tends to take care of that. The only comment I've gotten lately is that it makes hiking hygiene a lot easier. The head is definitely less sensitive now.

 

I'm uncircumcised I have no idea why my parents decided against it. Both of my brothers are circumcised. I've only meet one lady who had issue with it. All the other girls and women I've been with never had a problem with my cock in a few even liked playing with my foreskin.

 

I've always been envious of guys that have been circumcised but I couldn't bring myself to get the procedure done. At this point on my life it doesn't matter anyway. My wife seems to prefer guys who are circumcised especially for BJs.

 

I am envious of the uncircumcised guys, even though I never knew foreskin was a thing until I was 24. And I watched plenty of porn prior to that, just never noticed that about half were uncircumcised.

 

I guess the grass is always greener.
