I ran across this story and decided to link to it after the comments about milk in this thread:
I hope the link is working.

I drink milk all the time
    Love it

Not exclusively or predominantly, but it’s one of the options to drink

Who tells me what to drink???

Only reason I don’t order it at restaurants is because they don’t have it typically or it’s some tiny glass

    I’m lactose intolerant
But that’s easily solved, drink Lactaid or take a pill
    Problem solved

    I love the taste...
Especially with heavy meal, like big Italian pasta dinners
I also like it when eating chocolate, which is a bit “overwhelming” and it washes it down well...ready for more dessert.

It’s also very filling and comforting, something to sate for the day or mellow to relax or put you to sleep.

I hate it when others judge or think strange what others do.
You don’t drink it?? Fine, enjoy a different drink.
But let others just enjoy what they want.

Y’know, it’s all a big scam, what they push for people to drink. What they have available in restaurants. Or what people expect when dining. Pushing soda, bottled water or alcohol...all to charge more.
Fine, I get it...they want to make money.

But in the comfort of your own home.
Do as you will. And screw the haters.
Have no shame. Who has shame??? Who needs it?

    Have big glass of milk.

I rarely drink milk straight, a bit too rich for me. That said, I drink a lot of latte's and eat a lot of cheese.

I drink it every morning and, if I'm having cookies for a snack, a nice cold glass of milk is heavenly.

I drink heavy cream in my coffee but don't drink milk all that much anymore.
Not because I don't like it or anything, just got out of the habit somehow.

I have milk with my cereal. It's a must for me in my cereal. No, I will not soy or almond. It's cow milk. I like it, reminds me of being a child.

I like it with cookies, but I seldom have cookies and milk.

Milk in my protein drink. I don't mind milk, it's a fair amount of calories. The one milk I don't drink is skim milk, which is water that's lying about being milk.

    Where ever I roam
I can't drink plain milk. If I ever win the Indy 500 (very unlikely since I'm not a race car driver), I am drinking chocolate milk.

I can do either 2% or chocolate milk in cereal.

I have no clue how they get enough milk from almonds or soy beans to make one 52oz bottle, let alone enough to sell. Or are they making it by favoring water with the dust from the nuts or something?
