    Thank you, redux.

Folks, you have to share the names of the photographers.
It's the point of the thread. I will ask for non-attributed photos to be removed.

cis689 and Solitary Man, I know you are new here, but in case there's any doubt, I am referring to your posts.
Pony up the names of the photographers (it's important, you know, if you really like these images) or I will request that your posts be removed.

In 1965, photographer Bill Ray (below con camera) traveled with the Hell's Angels in California for Life Magazine.
I came across these images a few weeks ago and posted them on one of my blogs. I thought they were very striking and thought-provoking.
It's also the year I was born, 1965.

No worries. Thank you for responding.
I looked it up and the photo is by a photographer for a NJ newspaper named Thomas E. Franklin.

  9. I'd love to know what became of this kid. He would be about my age now, maybe a few years younger. How did this encounter effect him?

Very, very cool set of pictures. There was all kinds of paranoia over motorcycle clubs in the mid-60s.

He was a runner up for Time "Person of the Year" last year but the Time photo essay does not include "One Tiger, Eight Breasts" (taken by his assistant) that he tweeted last year.

The Chinese government response was to charge him with spreading pornography.

The Chinese people's response was to tweet their own nude photographs, including:

I love his photos. But I don't think that second one is Bellocq. That one is definitely from the 1920s. It might be Alfred Cheney Johnston.
