    Going to see Bladerunner 2049 and out to dinner with my friend on Saturday.
    Sunday will be the usual vinyl hunt but might go see a second run of Logan Lucky at the brew pub.
    I think that is a movie that will go well with beer.

    We went to Des Moines for a Friday evening wedding and then stayed in the amazing Hotel Pattee in Perry, IA, a small town north of Des Moines. Recommended by a friend of Sig's who stayed there during a group bike ride across the state of Iowa.Trip Advisor 5-star rating, historic, quirky, and lovely. Has forty rooms, every one is different.     Managed to hang out with an old friend I hadn't seen in about 8 years; had an awesome time. He also took me shooting for the first time- here are my first two attempts:

    2 days drive

    Yes, I stopped in Indy
    I'm not taking the Appalachian hills and curves when I'm dead tired. (I'm not stupid)

    770 miles - day 1
    550 miles- day 2

    Day 2 was harder since it wasn't clear straight highway
    But those nice winding roads (and very thick traffic)

    Thank god for my zippy little car that hugs the road
    Bonus:
    I received a Warning from a trooper
    On the highway from OKC to Tulsa
    For clicking an easy 100 on radar
    (Can't believe he didn't zap me with a ticket )

    These are the weapons I used:

    I also shot a semi-auto AK47, but no pic is necessary for that. The pics of the targets are from the pistol, and I think the distance was 10 yards. 9mm and 45 for the calibers, and I missed completely when I fired the revolver the first five rounds. I also missed completely when firing the AK47, but the distance was... I don't know, whatever the back end of the wall was.

    I tried to get some video, but my eternal curse is that whenever someone else tries to take a picture of me, they will always fail. All I have is this blurry clip:

    If the weekend is like the week has started, I'm going to go driving. I drove today, 200 miles on the 2.8 and loved every moment of it. If I do, I'm going to switch cars and drive the M roadster because I need to.

    Lost too many people last week.
