    I think that it's harder to get a ticket out West, especially in less populated areas. My cousin in New Mexico says it's much easier to get ticketed for driving stupid than driving fast.

    Tonight we're going to a sustainability thing about solar panels. A family friend is on the board of a coalition out here and since we have solar panels, we're going to support her and add additional commentary on the ease of having them installed.

    Saturday we are attending a 4 year old super hero themed birthday party. That evening I am hoping to go to some sort of haunted attraction.

    Sunday. Football.

    I will be checking out a new exhibit called "Americans" that opened earlier this week at the National Museum of the American Indian.

    The latest report is that the Smithsonian museums will be open this weekend despite the government shutdown and wont close until Monday.
